An initial consultation is usually 40-60mins. Your practitioner will collect a comprehensive health history from you, as well as your health goals and together a plan will be formulated. Many people bring their partners to this consult and this is encouraged. Follow up consultations will depend on the nature of the issue and the treatment plan.

You do not need a referral to see a Nurse Practitioner. However, if you have had surgery or have a complicated medical/treatment history, a letter from your specialist/GP with any helpful information is appreciated.

All our practitioners can provide you with prescriptions if required and order further tests if necessary. In the event you need to see a specialist doctor or surgeon, your practitioner will refer to an appropriate person.

This is entirely up to you. Your practitioner will ask for consent to feedback information to your usual care givers, however if you refuse, no correspondence will be given. If you agree, a letter will be sent.

You will be asked to complete a New Patient Form before your initial appointment, this is sent to you via email. Remember you DO NOT need a referral from your GP to see any of our practitioners and to be eligible for the Medicare rebate.

Consults range from $110-$240 AUS depending on time/service/practitioner. These  details will be sent to you via email once you book or you can email admin@rshealth.com.au and ask for an estimate. Medicare rebates apply to most but not all consults.

These issues may seem unrelated however, they are often interrelated. Excess weight has a negative impact on sexual function and urological issues (water works), conversely urological issues, in particular incontinence can affect a persons ability to exercise and therefore maintain a healthy weight. At RSHC we look at the person holistically to help you achieve the best possible outcomes.

This depends on your issue, please go to the About page and read more about Melissa, Sharon and Kendall.  If you are a penis owner and have sexual dysfunction of a physical nature, all 3 NP's can help you, for medical weight loss management or/and if you are a diabetic then Kendall is your girl. If your issue is predominantly urological then Sharon and Kendall specialise in this area. If your issue has psychological and physical components or if you are a couple requiring relationship assistance then book with Melissa. For the vulva owners, all three have different skills in this area so please email admin@rshealth.com.au with a brief outline of the problem and we will advise.
