Welcome to the Penile Rehabilitation Program

There are seven, self-guided modules full of advice, information and exercises, and a step-by-step guide to getting you back in action.
What’s in the Program?
-
You're about to learn more about your penis, than you ever thought you needed to know. All of this adds to your body of knowledge, so when we go through the steps required to address your prostate and erectile dysfunction, you understand why, and how it works.
-
Restoring sexual function, and eliminating incontinence as quickly as possible means creating the perfect conditions in your body for prostate cancer recovery. This requires preparation before your treatment, in some cases, and rehabilitation afterwards in all cases.
-
There are a number of ways to approach this, and much like the prostate cancer treatment itself, some will work for you better than others. We'll go through it all, and help you develop a plan that works for you, and you alone.
-
Healing does take time, but if you want to return to intimacy with your partner as quickly as possible, this is the module for you. There are a number of ways you can experience intimacy together, and even have intercourse before you're fighting fit again. Even if you have permanent damage to your nerves, and spontaneous erection is out of the picture indefinitely, we'll give you the skills to overcome it.
-
You have the program, and you have a plan but let's be honest, in the real world it's not always plain sailing. We know that, and so in this module we'll discuss the issues, and problems that many of our patients have come up against in the past, along with strategies for overcoming them.
-
If you want to keep prostate cancer away in the future, there's a range of things you can do to improve your chances of doing so. We'll cover it all in the module, and then you're fully equipped to maintain long-term health.
-
That's it! You're done. We'll cover all the most important parts of what you've learned, and now you're ready to put your plan into action, and fully begin your prostate cancer recovery.

Melissa is an Australian Sexologist and Nurse Practitioner who's helped over
15,000 men with their sexual recovery post prostate cancer treatment.
Having worked in healthcare for over 23 years, she's also the Director and Lead Clinician of Restorative Sexual Health Clinic in Western Australia, and runs the highly successful men's sexual health podcast, The Penis Project.
Melissa is often featured in Australian media talking about men's sexual health issues, and post-prostatectomy cancer treatment, and has now taken all of that knowledge and wrapped it up into the Penile Rehabilitation Program.
It's been tried, tested and it works. Not every single time, unfortunately, but if you're looking for the best chance of recovering from incontinence and erectile dysfunction after prostate cancer, this is it.
“I’m not a cancer specialist, and I’m not a prostate cancer expert, but I am a Sexologist and Nurse Practitioner who spends the majority of every day helping men with their prostate cancer recovery.
What most of my patients really wanted was a roadmap to recovery, a simple plan to follow, and over time this evolved into the Penile Rehabilitation Program.”

Still have Questions?
-
Absolutely, this program is ideal for patients who have undergone a radical prostatectomy.
-
You can still have sex after prostatectomy and orgasm too. In fact, many men say their orgasms are better after prostate cancer treatment! Talk about silver linings! Ejaculation however is not possible- all this is explained in detail in the program
This program can help you get there, even if you're unfortunate enough to suffer permanent nerve damage, we'll give you the skills to overcome it.
-
Of course, the program is wide ranging and covers function and intimacy, with topics that will help you navigate your relationships, in fact, we'd recommend you ask your partner to join you in the program.
-
Yes it is. We'll help you with your prostate cancer recovery, no matter what the treatment has been. After hormone treatment you will most likely also suffer from a low libido as well as erectile function issues we will assist with this too. Did you know 80% of libido actually is in your mind and only 20% in the hormones.
-
Absolutely not possible this will be explained in the program and is a commonly asked question so be assured that this is not possible.
-
Yes you can. This program will help you prepare physically for the effects of surgery, give you information to help you cope, and will also help with your prostate cancer surgery recovery. Remember “prior preparation prevents a piss poor recovery” this statement has never been truer than with a prostate cancer diagnosis. So, enrol in the program now and take your penis to bootcamp.
-
Unfortunately, no. But orgasm without ejaculation is possible. It's all in the program.
-
It is never too late to begin your recovery, and improve your situation, however the sooner you get started, the better. That said after 5 years you are unlikely to return to spontaneous erections however what is possible is improving health and size of penis, preventing or fixing a buried penis and getting function back with some help from devices and medication.
-
Yes, in fact we encourage people to ask partners to do the program with them. There's a lot of information for men with prostate cancer, and their loved ones too.
