What is Peyronies Disease?
Peyronies disease is an abnormal scarring process within the penis. Though easily curable when diagnosed early, most of the time, it is overlooked or not discussed even with GPs or with the special people in our lives that the after effects worsen.
The sooner to get diagnosed and treated, the better.
Signs and Symptoms
- Abnormally curved penis (more than 30 degrees)
Theories as to why people get Peyronies Disease
- Due to trauma that might have occurred during sexual activity
What factors help in making the diagnosis
- History of trauma during sex
- Smoking history
- Diabetes history
- Cardiovascular background
- And others
Treatment or Tools to help with Peyronies
- Penile strengthening devices like pumps (it helps to exercise the penis)
- Medications to help stimulate the penis like Viagra, Cialis, etc
- Other simple procedures
Injections and Peyronies
- The main cause is probably due to the technique and degree to how much the tunica is traumatised
